Back/Hip Extension with Ball
 

This exercise featured in the Dynamic Medicine Ball Training Correspondence Course.

  • Start lying prone on a mat with arms and legs extended.
  • Hold a medicine ball in each hand out to a 45 degree angle
  • Slowly raise the arms and legs up in one fluid motion with little bend in the knees and elbows.
  • You can also do this exercise while bending your knees at a 90 degree angle to concentrate on the gluteus maximus more!
